Jenkins Watch Stand (Review) – Built to Stand Out!

As a watch collector with a habit of acquiring just one more, I’ve been on a never-ending quest to find the perfect way to store and display my collection. Most storage solutions are either designed to hide your treasures away like secret vaults or cram as many timepieces as possible into the smallest possible footprint. The Jenkins Watch Stand, however, takes a different approach—one that’s all about showing off in the best possible way. The idea came about when one of the co-founders (also a founder of Traska Watches), was trying to find a better way to display his favorite pieces in his home office. What started as a personal project between the two founders, quickly evolved into something bigger. After building a prototype for themselves and realizing how clean and striking it looked, they figured: Why not share it with other collectors? The result is the Jenkins Watch Stand—a product clearly made by watch lovers, for watch lovers.

Think of it as a pedestal for your favorite watches. A sleek, modern art display. A little stage where your horological headliners can shine. I tested the three-watch model for this review, and spoiler alert: I’m impressed. From the moment I picked up the box, I knew this wasn’t your average flimsy display. The Jenkins arrives in a surprisingly hefty package, each component securely nestled in closed-cell foam like it just arrived from a high-end boutique. The stainless steel base alone clocks in at 0.7kg (yes, I weighed it). With its circular brushed finish, polished chamfer, and felted bottom, it’s as refined as some of the watches it’s meant to support. It’s also deceptively dense—sort of like the world’s classiest paperweight.

Assembly is intuitive and satisfying. The three vertical rods screw cleanly into the base, capped at the bottom with small flares that add both visual balance and a sense of over-engineered security. These aren’t going anywhere unless you want them to. Atop each rod, a C-clip fits snugly into place. Coated in a thick layer of black rubber, the clips are gentle on bracelets and straps alike, with enough grip to prevent slippage but enough give to let you adjust their angle. And yes—those L-shaped grips on the C-clips? Genius. They make securing a watch effortless.

With the stand fully assembled, I loaded it up with a trio of particularly photogenic watches from my collection. The result? Stunning. The tallest rod raises your watch to just under 25cm, giving the entire stand an elegant, tiered look that makes each piece feel special. Jenkins says it works with bracelet sizes from 16.25 to 20.3cm, and I tested it with both 18cm bracelets and loosely strapped watches. Everything fit perfectly.

Jenkins boldly claims the stand can resist “the paws of passing cats or children.” While I don’t have any little ones—or feline saboteurs—running around to put that to the test, I can say the stand feels solid and confidence-inspiring. The base is heavy, the components fit tightly, and nothing about it feels fragile or precarious. So while I can’t personally verify its kid-and-cat-proof claims, I’m inclined to believe them. And hey, if your home is pet- or toddler-powered, you might want to test that theory (carefully).

At $149 for the three-watch model (or $129 for two), the Jenkins Watch Stand delivers serious value. It’s beautifully constructed, thoughtfully designed, and—perhaps most importantly—it gives your favorite watches the spotlight they deserve. Whether you’re staging a photoshoot, prepping for a watch show, or just want to admire your top pieces while sipping your morning coffee, this stand delivers the goods.

If you’re ready to stop hiding your watches and start celebrating them, the Jenkins Watch Stand is a rock-solid choice. You can learn more or pick one up at getjenkins.com.
